I began taking photos about 35 years ago while working on my high school yearbook. Back then, of course, I used film cameras and made prints the old-fashioned way in a darkroom. Many of the images here were made with a film camera, but about 6 years ago I began working with digital cameras and haven't looked back. I love the ease and creative freedom made possible by digital image processing. I grew up in Vermont and have lived near or on the central California coast for the past 27 years.
